Jennie Cole-Mossman

Jennie Cole-Mossman is a Technical Expert Lead for JBS, serving both the Office for Victims of Crime Training and Technical Assistance project (OVC TTA) and the Health Resources and Services Administration Rural Communities Opioid Response Program project. She is a mental health specialist whose expertise spans child‒parent relationships, family drug courts, dependency court system work, opioid and other drug use disorders, and trauma screening and treatment for young children (ages 0 to 5). She is also a specialist in the use of reflective practice to decrease secondary trauma and assist with implementation of trauma informed care for judges, attorneys, and a range of victim service providers. She is also a trained family mediator and collaborative divorce child specialist.
Prior to coming to JBS International, Jennie was the Co-Director for the Nebraska Center for Vulnerable Young Children at the Center on Children, Families, and the Law (CCFL) at the University of Nebraska. In this role she was a child parent psychotherapy trainer, reflective practice trainer, consultant for the University of Nebraska Law School Children's Justice Clinic, and helped build the infrastructure for infant mental health and reflective supervision across the state of Nebraska. Prior to this role, Jennie was the Infant and Toddler Specialist for Nebraska Court Improvement at CCFL.
