Self-Paced Training Course: Introduction to Treatment Models and Engagement (Homeless and Housing Resource Center)

No cost self-paced training course which provides foundational level information about treatment models and engagement strategies that support individuals who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness who have serious mental illness, serious emotional disturbance, substance use disorders, or co-occurring disorders. Key topics of this course include: risk factors for homelessness, treatment principles, including trauma-informed care, treatment models and care coordination, treatment-focused engagement and motivational interviewing. The course is anticipated to take three hours to complete and has been accredited by the National Association of Social Workers to receive three CEUs.
